Ok this is where the series ends for me, I wont be continuing. This just took a while new turn. I feel this series is plot on top of plot, nothing is consistent from the start or building from the start. The whole kidnapping thing, because Reed was dating toy boy Upton, was just bleh! Her hallucinations etc on the island were also just cringe worthy. Then the cliffhanger being Billings being pulled down, I am done!

love love love the private series. they have to be my favorite teen non-fantasy/paranormal series.i love the dark air they have about them, it makes them different from a typical "mean girl" series. kate brian does a wonderful job. i was soooo overjoyed when i saw this book sitting on the bookstore shelf, excpet for the fact if was short ): but i really liked this book, i love that the attempts on Reed's life were more dangerous and more succesful than they have been in the past, with the person

While this book felt a little like a bridge, or filler, from one book to another, I still loved every second of it!When Hooked: Immediately. The last book Paradise Lost left us with such an unbelievable cliff-hanger that as soon as you flip open the first page of Suspicion you are hooked.Hookability: (9.5/10) This series is one where you pick the book up, read, and about an hour to two hours

I normally never flag my reviews as having spoilers because I normally avoid them like the plague. I hate, hate, HATE having anything ruined -- or even mildly tainted -- by having foreknowledge of it. But for the tenth book in the Private series, I have to make an exception. I used to love this series when I was in middle school, so Im gonna give it 3 stars. The main character wasnt an interesting character at all. But I guess the mystery, drama & scandal was what kept me reading 😆 However, the prequel (book of spells) was full of shit that I hated it even then.

I read this in the Caribbean, where the majority of this book takes place, so that was really cool. As far as the story goes, this one was crazy. Poor Reed. Shes been through so much in 10 books, and theres more to come. I really liked seeing a sweeter side of Noelle in this one, and I liked getting to know Sawyer better as well.Also - I was lying on the beach reading about Reeds horrible sunburn....only to end up horribly sunburned myself!
