Explanation Toward Books Born to Fight (Born #2)

Twenty years ago scientists made some remarkable discoveries with genetics and the ability to perfect the babies we gave birth to. Ten years ago the governments of the world made a hard choice: earth or people. Nine weeks ago the choices they made came full circle. Fourteen days ago the truth of their mutations leaked out into the borderlands and other areas. Yesterday the worst thing they ever made learned about what she was. Today she's coming for them, and she knows about the strengths they gave her. Tomorrow she plans on destroying everything. She plans on starting with her own creator. Her own father.

Assess Regarding Books Born to Fight (Born #2)
**4 "I read that in Granny's Book" Stars**The series is definitely getting better as book progresses. Not only is the story and the characters developing but so is the author's writing.I still got annoyed at Em's immaturity level and whining over 2 guys along with her self pity party of blaming herself for her stupid mistakes. This book did captivate me and I felt that I couldn't put it down until I figured out what was going to happen next, who Em would choose to be with, or who was going to get

3/5So obviously, based on my ratings, I did not enjoy this book as much as the first and at times was really annoyed. This does not mean the entire book was bad because I did enjoy it. It was good but not really good.I really enjoyed the beginning, it was quite intense and confusing (in a good way), and just showed more of Em's personality. I really liked the new development of Em's story about how she is a Gen baby and that is why she is different. Many people want her dead because of this and

Wow! I can safely say this is the first post-zombie-apocalyptic survivalist genocidal genetically engineered novel I've read, but I loved it! I didn't know what it was before I started, I just knew I loved Tara Brown's other books, so I gave it a shot. Three genetically engineered zombie thumbs up!!!

This was an okay read, but i didn't like it as much as the first.Emma was an alright character, but she annoyed me at points. The first book was great, but this one just fell flat for me. It didn't have as much action, the characters weren't as likable as they were in book one, and i just didn't enjoy it as much. I'm hoping this one was just a victim of second book syndrome, and the third one is better. Overall, Disappointing.

The only thing I liked about this sequel was the cover. I do not know what I was thinking when I started on this sequel. I should have known better. That is all. The semi love triangle / romance aspect just ruined the book for me. Then the whole revelation about EMMA, then STAR, then the SHIT that happened to EMMA and ANNA, just made me queasy & completely turned me OFF. And again, the character development was rushed and unrealistic. The lack of editing was annoying. I cannot believe I

finished about 75% then got bored

Um abusive boyfriend? Really? Just shut up already. And that ending was weird.
