Description To Books The House of Gaian (Tir Alainn #3)
Final book in the Tir Alainn series and everything comes racing to the end. There's a bit more sense of urgency with this book than the previous two, and I liked that with this one. Well, liked it until I found myself awake in the wee hours attempting to finish it before I could sleep, muttering "Just one more chapter" to myself. All the loose threads get tied up, the battles are won, and all in all, the book completes itself. I've noticed lately, some books don't completely end when they end, which annoys me, but this one made sure everything was neatly taken care of. I grew to like quite a few of these characters, and I hope Anne Bishop comes back to this series like she has the Black Jewels series.

I've noticed lately, some books don't completely end when they end,As I had pulled this book out of a book box, I didnt realize that it was the last in a trilogy until about 50 pages in. While I believe reading the other two books would have helped with some context/back stories, I felt that the book was able to stand on its own.I enjoyed that the author bounced from character to character telling the story from their perspectives. However, some of the characters didnt appear to be relevant, so perhaps she was wrapping up a few story lines.I also liked that the

I usually love Anne Bishop but this series just does not work for me at all. I find the story confusing and sort of boring and I cannot relate to the characters at all. I feel like this series gets worse as it progresses.
Unfortunately, I read this book before the other novels in the trilogy, so it was a bit confusing to keep all the characters separate (and there are many, many characters with similar names). Anne Bishop jumps around to each character's perspective, telling multiple stories at the same time. Many of the stories are miles away and only connect to the main plot through tangents. Perhaps after creating such a rich and varied fantasy world Anne Bishop wanted to make sure no character was left
Took me longer than I would have liked to read it, but loved it! I almost ugly cried at a few scenes. My biggest issue was in general, seeing less and less of Ari and Neall. They played a huge role in the first book, but not so much in the next two. Understandable, but I loved them the most!
I like the series. but I felt it got too dark, there was so much unnecessary dead and to much evil that the final battle it still felt like they lost..
