well worth the readthis intriguing life story, winding through decades and insights, caught my attention early on, and held it through the last revelations of Nash, Callie, and Shayla. Told in a back-and-forth style that connects not only the lives of the amazingly portrayed women in the story but also the ongoing and ever-present connections of life lessons and love lessons, you are shown how people can be the same while being entirely different in terms of substance and circumstance. This book found me at the right time as books so often do so the story was like a siren's song. I loved the setting of the Nevada quickie divorce ranch and Caletti builds the nostalgia of the time with her descriptions. However, it is also in this setting using flashbacks that she stumbles in character development. It went on and on without seeming to go anywhere for most of the book. I didn't really connect to any of the characters, I didn't find they to be very well developed.
