Why couldn't they have just lived happily ever after?

Shaman of Stonewylde continues straight after the previous book Shadows at Stonewylde!:D Things were looking dire for the gang at Stonewylde at the end of that book but in Shaman of Stonewylde things are taking a turn for the better though there are plenty of bumps in the road!:D Yul and Sylvie are still having marriage issues and the financial crisis at Stonewylde is continuing to bite this is combined with a drought and the continuing goings-on coursework three crones drink previous book!:D

I haven't cried while reading a book in a long time. Great book and series.

So, we reach the end of the Stonewylde story - and what a way to finish this wonderful story.These are dark times indeed. The spirit of Magus is still around, waiting for the chance to pounce, several old faces try to return and some want a return to the Hallfolk/ Villagers way of living. Yul and Sylvie are still struggling with their relationship problems - every time they seem close to working things out something else drives them apart.The story, as ever is very involving and beautifully

An amazing and emotional end to the Stonewylde series. As soon as I picked it up I couldn't put it down, the ending was both beautiful and unexpected. Once again Kit Berry conjures the imagery of Stonewylde and its events so vividly that it feels like you're actually there. A must read for anyone who's read the previous installments in the Stonewylde series.

Nooooooooo, I cried as KBs killed Sylvie. What a shock but I understand why. I guess thats the end of a truly remarkable series.
