I was ten when I read the last Kiki Strike book. I'm fourteen now. I still want to read it.If that doesn't say something, I don't know what will. This series remains one of my favorites of all time. EDIT:I read the book! It was fantastic. It's really cool how a series that you haven't read in a long time can still grab your attention. Reading this felt like catching up with old friends who have a taste for the dangerous. And it was especially nice to see the Fishbein Guide to Being A Lady backA common writing sort of thing is the issue of plot vs. character, and the issue of which is more important. Even a messy, sloppy plot can be saved by several poignant, amazing characters, but a brilliant plot might be let done by it's cardboard cast. However, while I CAN tell you that this book had great characters and a decent, if somewhat dragging, plot, the decisions the characters make, along with the romance subplot, make this book less realistic compared to it's two wonderful companions.
ONE MILLION STARS.Seriously. Kiki Strike: The Darkness Dwellers makes me feel bad for people who don't read. Formal, expansive, review full of praise-dumpage to come.

MY THOUGHTSABSOLUTELY LOVED ITKiki is off to Pokrovia to track down her aunt for the crime of murdering her parents and finally put her in jail but in Kiki's world, nothing is ever easy. With the Irregulars backing her up, she takes off and ends up in Paris, where she is kidnapped. So there are about six,m or it seems, subplots going on while Kiki is stuck in Paris trying to get the proof to pin her parents' murder on her aunt and you can only hope that she succeeds. This is also where Kiki
I've been waiting to read the final novel in the amazing and brilliant Kiki Strike series for years. Finally got a copy, and it was absolutely incredible.
3.5 stars. This would have been a solid 4 star rating if Ananka and Kiki hadn't acted like completely different characters for a huge chunk of the book. But the plot was great, the wrap-up of the arc concerning who gets the throne in Pokrovia was more than satisfactory, and Betty got to be her best badass self. It could have been better, but in the end I'm more than satisfied.
Has this book been released or.... ?I feel like I've been waiting since I was 12 for this to come out & I'm 16 now :/What's going on with this series?
