Walt Disney's Dumbo (A Little Golden Book)
The illustrations were nice as well, and the book was short without being too dull or fast-paced for readers to get anything out of. It's really not too bad of a picture book and it's one that a lot of readers today could still enjoy.
A well written book. Enjoyed reading it.
It remains a classic ... a wonderful story.

Pure magic. I am convinced that this book was one of the very early, formative events of my life. No kidding. Thanks, Mom, for keeping me surrounded by Little Golden Books!
I remember reading this as a kid and being so upset about Dumbo. It reminds me of my childhood when I read it.

Narration In Pursuance Of Books Walt Disney's Dumbo (A Little Golden Book)
I didn't know much of Dumbo until I read this book. To be honest I've never actually seen the original film (or the Tim Burton remake), only the original animated "Pink Elephants on Parade" scene. We weren't allowed to watch the VHS copy of it they had at my elementary school because of the "Jim Crow" thing, and there had been video trailers for it on other VHS tapes I owned as a kid, but it's not really a story I've ever thought much about. This book adaptation of it was actually pretty good; Dumbo is a slightly hokey but overall decent story about overcoming hardships, bullying and loneliness and finding something good which sets you apart from others, which are lessons still just as timely today and more important now than ever, probably. The illustrations were nice as well, and the book was short without being too dull or fast-paced for readers to get anything out of. It's really not too bad of a picture book and it's one that a lot of readers today could still enjoy.
