I was so mad!!!! Fictional characters do NOT make me cry. They don't exist. They are in the author's head. Well, I felt the twinge in my stomach, then the tightness in my chest, then the watery eyes, then the tear fell. How absurd! Ms. Burke caused me to become all emotional about enchanters. I kept telling myself, "Don't be stupid. They aren't even real!" It didn't start out that way. Everything seemed hunky dorey. Well, that didn't last long. The relationships in this book are rich andI liked it a lot. I am still somewhat confused about some things. Ready for the third and hoping that answers my questions.

I loved Emerald Destiny just as much as Violet Midnight. Emerald Destiny follows the next generation of Enchanters, who are even more powerful than the last generation. Some familiar characters from the first book play a part as well. Abby and Evans story is a sad one. Their parents do their best to keep them apart. Ive been waiting for the second book in the The Enchanters series, and it was well worth the wait. Emerald Destiny is an emotional ride that you won't want to put down. I liked the first book Violet Midnight but this one I loved. I truly connected with the characters and didn't want to stop reading. Abby and Evan get to tell their story in this one. It was all about their parents in Violet Midnight.
