Narration In Favor Of Books Better Than Perfect

The best things in life are the least expected.

Twenty-three-year-old Karlie has few friends, no boyfriend, and no plans to graduate from college anytime in the immediate future. She spends her free time hanging out with her elderly next door neighbor, daydreaming but never doing anything to escape the endless cycle of predictability.

When Karlie’s world is invaded by two surly twins bound for criminal court, a too-good-to-be-true love interest, and a cute cop who keeps showing up at the most inopportune moments, Karlie can either fight against the changes in her life, or embrace them.

Commentary About Books Better Than Perfect
Better than Perfect is one of Tricia Drammehs best books yet. Though I have loved them all, this one resonated with me the most. I can relate to the feelings of inadequacies of being human. Its the human existence that pulled me in and made me feel somehow a part of the story. Karlie can be any of us. She is real, flawed and not without quicks. Its the quirks about her that I admire the most. There is an honesty to the writing that makes me wonder how much of this story is from real life.

Better than PerfectBetter than Perfect is a fairy tale running parallel with a nightmare. On the face of it, Karlie doesnt have a lot going for her. Between juggling her college classes, her job, the house she lives in alone since her parents died and keeping an eye on her elderly neighbour, she doesnt have much time for making herself look gorgeous and hunting for boyfriends. She gets by, but the memory of her parents death keeps her curled up in her shell and prevents her from really getting

Karlie is a young woman trying to live life in her own terms which means not growing up. Unfortunately, life happens. I enjoyed this book. A solid 3.5* for me, and a good read. :)"Life doesn't fall into a nice, neat pattern. It's sloppy."

I was looking for an easy read this weekend and I found this one was offered as a free book for the weekend. It did not disappoint. I don't read much romance so I'm not sure if this fits in that genre or not. But it certainly didn't fit with my perception of what is typical romance. It was a story of a woman who gets entangled with some young teens through her relationship with their grandmother. They have trials and troubles as many teens do. But is she equipped to take care of them? Is she

This was indeed the perfect romance read. All the right blends of a good story mixed with great characters. It will make your heart bleed and soar as you speed through each page. Loved it.

This book hooked me from the very first page. I loved every single character....even busy body Mrs. Carroll. Karlie was such a great protagonist. It was so refreshing to see her growth throughout the story. She was loyal, caring and most of all stronger than she ever thought she could be when faced with adversity. Being a mom of twin teenage boys, my heart went out to Connor and Cole. There are so many important life lessons in this story.....it shows you that life isn't always pieced together

What a great read! This book has it all..... Personal struggles, building relations of all kinds, finding yourself no matter what you have to dig through to get to that point. It was an exceptional read!
