I was really kind of disappointed. This book felt... like a forced effort. There was too much formulaic type stuff. Brilliant woman, does not use brain and must be constantly rescued. Tough guy RUSSIAN hero that emotes everywhere and sounds like he's from middle America. A plot that is pretty thin and predictable; also highly improbable, beyond the normal suspension of disbelief required. I liked the humor of Airanne a lot in this book. I really like Max as well. However, the BS with all the 27 year old virginity and still being "intact" is ridiculous and so, so Ugh. just no.

This series have me a luke-warm vibe and so this book has been sitting on my to-read shelf for ages. I actually enjoyed it. Overall the timeline was a little to quick, but I loved the manipulation of air.

Action packed, LOTS and lots of violence (view spoiler)[but what do you expect when there are few disgusting pedophiles, a cargo ship used for human trafficking, kidnapped humans, sexually abused children, emotionally abused children, dead children, dead women, and a crew who know what is going on and care less... you get a guy who will make everyone pay for their sins and he has the training and the extra power to do so. Well this author has taken her readers back to Sea Haven with this her third book in the Sisters of the Heart series and it's a cracker full of non stop action. Fans of this author were probably bitterly disappointed when her series about the Drake sisters drew to a close but Ms Feehan has managed to find equally magical characters living within the towns limits! This book has been much anticipated and yet again readers are set for an enthralling ride.Airiana has finally found somewhere safe
