This was a strange book about friendship, betrayal and India. What happens when you blame yourself for a tragedy? This book attempts to answer that question.

This book was too jumpy. The characters were not developed enough and I felt it was vague with too many twists to to follow. Maybe because it was set in India and there were places I couldn't imagine and words I had to look up. In the end the story was good, I just didn't like the writing.

The story is pretty weak, it's hard to rate in stars: two or three?The build up was kind of chick flicky in a way, it wasn't the kind of in depth and deep as I kind of expected of a novel about India. I guess I was looking for more in such a story but this was too superficial for me.Also, the characters are pretty silly and naive. Very fascinating and surrealisticly chilling story, especially for all those who went backpacking and met with 'weird' circumstances... Kept turning the pages, really wanted to know how this story would end. Great read.
