Rendition Supposing Books We Three Heroes (The Medoran Chronicles #4.5)
"We all have to do our part if we're to survive the coming storm."Alexandra Jennings might be the hero of The Medoran Chronicles, but she would be lost without her three closest friends. They are her heroes, and like all heroes, they each have their own story.
Meet the real D.C. in Crowns and Curses and discover how she becomes the princess Alex once despised but now adores.
Follow Jordan on his healing journey in Scars and Silence as he struggles in the wake of being rescued from his living nightmare.
Walk beside Bear in Hearts and Headstones as he faces an unspeakable trauma while helping his world prepare for the coming war.
D.C., Jordan and Bear are the heroes of their own stories.
It is time for their stories to be told.

5 stars and moreIt's no secret I've really enjoyed this series and this book was no exception. It's basically three short stories covering the same period as the previous books but from a different perspective. The world building is superb as always. It's so easy to be swept up and away in this amazing tale. So vivid, so descriptive, just captivating. So this is mostly about Bear, D.C and Jordan who are the main protagonist Alex's best friends. Many of the fantastic cast of the books are here tooNovellas and short stories aren't generally my thing but I like how Lynette has approached it within 'We Three Heroes'. Out of the three stories I think Bear's is my favourite. (view spoiler)[ I have been shipping Bear and Declan together for a while and it continued during Bear's novella!!!!! (hide spoiler)] I kept forgetting that I hadn't read this book but now that it's over I am glad to have delayed reading it because it means less waiting time between finishing this and the release of

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.Confession: I havent really liked D.C. and Jordan since Akarnae. I mean, its not that Ive disliked them exactly. Its just, I dont get excited about scenes with them in it. At least, not in the same way I do about so many other characters in The Medoran Chronicles.I loved both characters when I first met them, but they havent quite met the mark ever since, and when We Three Heroes was announced I couldnt help but think there
AHHHHHHH! SCREAMING! I CANNOT WAIT FOR VARDAESIA!I had the honour of meeting Lynette at the book launch the day after I read this. She is so lovely and signed all my books! This book was an emotional rollercoaster! Jordan's was my favourite, then Bear's, then DC's. The backstories of some characters destroyed me and some characters are such jerks!
Do I need to mention here again that I loved it? Because I sure did. Usually, I'm not a novella person at all, but I really enjoyed these ones. Getting to know Bear, Jordan and D.C. more is something that I didn't want to miss. I'm really amazed of how these three stories made me openly laugh at one moment and almost cry at another (almost because I did everything that I could to contain my tears as I wasn't alone). Now I just have to survive till February, so i can get my hands on Vardaesia.
SECOND READ 18/02/19 - 4 stars I just read my first "review" for this book and wow: I cursed myself. Massively. I was in a book slump my entire reread of this series, so good job me. Way to go, jinxing yourself like that. But anyway, bumped this down half a star and now I feel terrible. I'm going to blame it on the book slump again and forcing myself to finish this book so I can get to Vardaesia. Crowns and Curses - 3.5 starsIt was good to get an insight into D.C.'s past and really understand
