Cursed (Betrayed (The Brookehaven Vampires #5) #4)
Leaving it all behind, Laney and Oliver are looking forward to getting away from the troubles of “Treeville,” and finally beginning their forever. Unfortunately, Laney’s guardian angel and Oliver’s twin have other plans in mind.
Even so, after a wonderful, yet also terrifying few days together, Laney and Oliver are off to the capital where they will partake in Levi’s plans of persuading his love to join his world. Although enjoyable, and rather entertaining, Laney and Oliver must soon return home where anything can and will go wrong.
As if a psychotic angel and a crazy twin brother were not enough, Laney and her friends come to find that their previous troubles with witches, werewolves, and the Weslin siblings were nothing compared to what is coming.
With many secrets into her life revealed, Laney must find it within herself to hold it together and make the right choices to help save the ones she loves.
With everyone’s futures hanging in the balance, will Laney and her friends be able to put a stop to a chain of events that could tear their world apart?

Loved this book!!!!!! I have always had a thing for vampires. I was addicted, when I wasn't reading I was thinking about reading. I just couldn't get the story out of my head. My favorite supernatural series. This book was my favorite of the series. I actually sat on the couch and read for 6 hours, I just could not put it down. If you like vampires, you will love this series.
*caution may contain spoilers*This was different than I expected. First, there wasn't as much of Zane as I thought there would be. While it turns out he is the Weslins' cousin and nephew of their father (who is discovered was Laney's mom's angel) he only shows in the beginning after the bonding (Finally!) of Oliver and Laney and at the end as the pet of Cyrus, the only angel that's on the vampires' side. Mr. Weslin does say to Laney thanks to her mom he never has to go to Hell, but I'm thinking

That was a very good ending to the Brookhaven Vampires series. It kept me entertained as well as in suspense. I hope there is another book in the making.
It seemed to take a while to get to the "curse," like half the book. But that's okay, I love Laney and her hot vampire boyfriend Oliver. But the lure for me is Felix!! Love me a big beefy, powerful vampire! I do hope that in the next book, Laney straightens her spine and demands some answers to all the secrets that surrounds her life. She needs to become a vampire and start kicking some ass!! This is s Goodread!!
This was a good book full of YA supernatural drama. It took me a while to finish this one. I was getting tired of all the new situations and just really wanted an ending for Laney and Oliver. I have come to find out there are many more books to come in this series. I can't fairly judge this book because I'm not a YA lover. I'm sure if you are into YA and paranormal, you will really love this series.
SOOOOOO INTENSE!!! i sure hope this isnt the last of the series!!!

Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of this series and the authors style so perhaps I went into this with my expectations too high. To be honest, during the first 30% of this book I was wondering if the author had been abducted by an imposter because the writing was just 'off'. Perhaps the author just woke from a nap or needed some time to get her mojo back or maybe it's a matter of taking Laney from Treeville makes Laney very boring indeed. It is not until Carter enters that the story comesLoved this book!!!!!! I have always had a thing for vampires. I was addicted, when I wasn't reading I was thinking about reading.
