Write Up Of Books Repeat Offender: Sin City's Most Prolific Criminal and the Cop Who Caught Him
There are some criminals out there that are habitual hard-core offenders. Nickell, a former Las Vegas detective in the covert unit known as Repeat Offender Program, or ROP, shares with us one such character, one Daimon Monroe, who at the time of the trial documented in this true-crime story had forty-eight prior convictions.Unfortunately for Monroe, the threats made to the lives of several witnesses, Chief Deputy District Attorney DiGiacomo, and Detective Nickell were all taken very seriously

Good ReadThe author of this book seems to be an interesting and real person. He has an unshakeable faith and a great mortality, I'd love to sit and talk with him over coffee! My kind of person and book!!!

Wow I was pleasantly surprised! It's a great book written by Bradley Nickell. It has so many twists and turns you will love it. It definitely shows some major cracks in our justice system. Daimon made a career out of being a repeat Offender. I would highly recommend to all avid true crime readers.

Amazing This book is a story of a habitual criminal that is classified as a Repeat Offender. Bradley Nickels a detective in the ROP in Las Vegas for 15 years takes you through the story of Daimon Monroe and his accomplices. It seems as many times that Diamon has been arrested. He can't stop. It sounds as if it's a high they get in committing these crimes as a drug addict gets in obtaining drugs. This is a true story and true accounts of the dedication and hard work the, ROP (Repeat Offender

Interesting look from a Detective's sideAlthough i live 2 hours south of Las Vegas, I never heard of this case until now. I enjoyed reading it from the detective's side...how he got involved, the many paths he had to take, all to bring this criminal to justice. With death threats against him and two others, he still followed through to the only outcome that was possible. Great job, Det. Nickell!

So as I mentioned, my personal preference heavily weighed on my opinion of this story. I listened to it on Audible during my gym sessions, so it kept me amused but I can't say that I actually 'enjoyed' it. The story itself was very well written, almost to the point where it was sounding like a fiction novel, however. The third POV was a tad on the annoying side because it felt the the author was 'big noting' himself too often and referring to himself more than necessary. But like I said, it's

Repeat Offender by Bradley Nickell. This is a great book. A riveting true story of one of the most prolific criminals in Vegas. I am amazed at how long he got away with so many crimes & how he was able to obtain so much. Thanks to detective Nickell's hard work this repeat offender was brought to justice.
