I really loved this book. I loved the strength and determination of Ginger. I feel all the characters in this book are quite strong and well defined. The story was well paced and kept me glued to the pages. Gilman has a novella prequel out, involving the same world but not the same characters, that I already bought so I can at least read that in the mean time. She has created an amazing world. A world that is an add on to ours. Humans are the majority but most hate the Fallen Archangels and demons that want to coexist with them. The humans support poachers who are set on killing demons and archangels and selling their feathers.
